Detailed Itinerary:

As the sun's first rays painted the ochre walls of Marrakech, we embarked on our 4-day Merzouga desert trip from Marrakech. Leaving the bustling city behind, we headed southward, crossing the imposing High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n'Tichka Pass. The serpentine road afforded us breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks and lush valleys below.

Our first major stop was the renowned Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a cinematic gem. Walking through its narrow alleys and admiring the intricate mud-brick architecture, we couldn't help but feel like characters in a historical epic.

Continuing our adventure, we journeyed through the Skoura Oasis, with its verdant palm groves, and arrived at the enchanting Dades Valley. Here, the rugged beauty of the landscape took our breath away as we marveled at the dramatic rock formations that seemed to defy gravity. We spent the night in a cozy riad nestled among the valley's towering cliffs, embracing the tranquility of this remote paradise.
